Be yourself, have fun and teach a child how to do the same. Be their friend, be a mentor, and share in those everyday moments that become lifetime memories. Join A Committee!
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a national BBBS bowling fundraiser that Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Rhode Island hosts to raise money for our mentoring programs. The BFKS Planning Committee takes lead in recruiting teams to bowl, identifying and soliciting sponsorships, promoting the event in the community, planning the décor at the event and the event theme, soliciting items for the raffle and volunteering on the day of the event – or bowling at the event! In order to join, each committee member agree to become a team captain.
