NOW HIRING DONATION CENTER DRIVER

Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI is seeking a responsible, customer-focused driver to join our growing Donation Center team. Position is for an on-call, as needed, FULL-TIME, non-CDL driver with a year-round flexible work schedule, possible weekends.

Job Details

In this position, you will be responsible for safely operating a 16 foot box truck to complete a daily pick-up route of 45-60 stops to collect cloth and small household donations. Routes are completed using a tablet device and route management software. Additional responsibilities include performing and documenting daily vehicle inspections, loading/unloading trucks and warehouse of goods collected, and interacting with customers in a polite, professional manner while following COVID-19 protocols.

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. A DOT health card is required (can be obtained upon hire). Previous experience driving a box truck is strongly preferred. Applicants must be physically able to alternately sit, stand, walk, climb, and lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.
