Ray Nuñez is a storyteller, entrepreneur, and creative strategist who uses marketing, design, and fundraising strategy to drive social change. His work focuses on building brands that are inclusive, culturally grounded, and built to last, helping organizations connect authentically with the communities they serve.
In 2020, Ray and his wife Taryn founded Nuñez, a multicultural marketing agency that challenges the status quo and promotes equity through design, strategy, and storytelling. He also launched DobleImpact, a bilingual design-on-demand platform that helps mission-driven organizations reach diverse audiences through culturally relevant creative work.
Ray currently serves as Chief Advancement Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island, where he leads fundraising, marketing, communications, donor engagement, and advancement strategy in support of youth mentorship across the state.
In 2026, Ray will publish his first book, The New Social Sector, a call to reimagine how nonprofits lead, communicate, and build trust in a new era of equity and innovation.
Ray has been named one of Providence Monthly’s “Who to Watch” (2022) and a Tech10 “Next Tech Generation” honoree (2021). He has served on the boards of the Latino Policy Institute, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the RI Mexican Association, and United Way of Rhode Island’s Community Advisory Board. He is also a graduate of the Rhode Island Foundation’s Equity Leadership Initiative and College Leadership Rhode Island.
Now based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Ray is a husband, father, and creative advocate who continues to find new ways to learn, build, and give back.
