Aida Asfura is the Payroll and Benefits Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island. Aida joined BBBSRI in March 2019 as a temporary employee. Four months later, she was offered a full-time position and transitioned to Bilingual Match Support Specialist. She was promoted to Payroll and Benefits Manager in 2022. Aida received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Management from Rhode Island College in 2018.
Since joining BBBSRI, Aida has supported the quality and safety of Matches and provided case management to families in the program. In her role as Payroll and Benefits Manager, she is responsible for administering all aspects of company benefits and leave programs, payroll administration, employment records, and reporting. She also maintains a pulse on the overall culture of the organization.
Prior to working with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Aida took a break from work to focus on earning her degrees and taking care of her child.
Aida lives in North Providence with her son, Nicholas, and her husband, Kevin.
