Become a Brand Ambassador
WHO
The BBBSRI Ambassadors are a group of community-minded leaders who have the desire, willingness, and ability to support the mission of BBBSRI.
WHAT
By creating opportunities for the organization to grow its pool of primary resources, Mentors, Fiscal Resources, and Cloth Donations, BBBSRI Ambassadors expand the impact of BBBSRI in the community while strengthening the foundation of the organization.
WHY
BBBSRI needs Mentors, Fiscal Resources, and Cloth Donations to fulfill its mission: To create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We need a network of individuals with the connections and platforms to spread the word about the power and impact mentoring has on young people and on our community.
HOW LONG
BBBSRI Ambassadors make an initial one-year commitment. In that year they setone specific goal along with the BBBSRI team.
GOALS
Example goals include:
• connect BBBSRI with 2 opportunities to present their program to a group
• recruit 5 potential mentors who inquire about mentoring
• raise $500 for the organization
• host a friend-raiser/fireside chat for the organization
• host a fundraising event on social media or through a small group
• find 2 opportunities for BBBSRI to place donation bins
These are just examples of impactful goals. There are countless opportunities.
Ambassadors are asked to announce their Ambassadorship on their social media and to post about BBBSRI at least two times.

• Two free tickets to BBBSRI’s Annual Scholarship Event
• After one year, Ambassadors are presented with a certificate of honor and appreciation at an event to be determined by the organization
• The feeling of knowing that you are making a lifelong impact on youth in Rhode Island!
Meetings
There are NONE! Ambassadors participate in a one-time, 1-hour orientation and that’s it!
